On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Penn High School standout Abby Widmar’s current college team, the Indiana State Sycamores, won 2-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois State Redbirds.

The game took place at Jim Frost Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Redbirds this season.

The Sycamores’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 3 p.m. at Price Field at The Eleanor Forsythe St. John Softball Complex against Valparaiso Beacons.
