On March 18, 2025, Yakym informed constituents that his team would be available in Plymouth and Warsaw to assist with federal casework questions. He stated, “My team is available in Plymouth and Warsaw tomorrow to assist with federal casework questions.”
The following day, March 19, 2025, Yakym announced his collaboration with fellow representatives Ron Estes and John Larson in reintroducing the American Innovation and R&D Competitiveness Act. He emphasized the importance of supporting manufacturers, small businesses, and workers by stating: “I joined @RepRonEstes and @RepJohnLarson to reintroduce the American Innovation and R&D Competitiveness Act because prioritizing our manufacturers, small businesses, and workers isn’t just good policy — it’s common sense.”
Later that morning on March 19th, he shared about his meeting with state legislators in Indianapolis.
