Rudy Yakym, a Congressman representing Indiana’s 2nd District since 2022, recently expressed his support for the “One Big Beautiful Bill” through a series of tweets. Born in 1984 and residing in Granger, Yakym has been serving in the U.S. Congress after completing his education at Indiana University South Bend.

On July 10, 2025, Yakym posted about the bill on Twitter: “The One Big Beautiful Bill is a win for Hoosiers: →Tax relief →Federal spending cuts →Border security”. He highlighted the benefits that he believes the bill will bring to residents of Indiana.

Later that day, Yakym reiterated the bill’s advantages with another tweet stating: “If you pay taxes, there is something in the One Big Beautiful Bill for you”. This suggests that the bill contains provisions aimed at benefiting taxpayers.

In a subsequent post on July 10, he emphasized local support by sharing what constituents from Indiana’s Second District are saying about the legislation: “The One Big Beautiful Bill delivers for Indiana’s Second District. Here’s what Hoosiers are saying “.

Yakym graduated from Indiana University South Bend with an Associate degree in 2009 and a Bachelor’s degree in 2011. His educational background and ongoing political career underscore his commitment to serving his district effectively.
