On March 17, 2025, Congressman Yakym tweeted about a meeting with Poly Electronics in Elkhart. He expressed optimism about the company’s efforts to boost electronics assembly jobs in the U.S., particularly in Indiana. “I had a great meeting with the team at Poly Electronics in Elkhart today. They’re dedicated to brining electronics assembly jobs back to the U.S. and driving growth and investment in Indiana!”

Later that day, Yakym addressed economic developments related to consumer goods prices. He noted a decrease in egg prices, emphasizing it as a fulfillment of promises made by the administration. “Egg prices are going down. Promises Made, Promises Kept”

In another tweet on March 17, 2025, Yakym commented on fuel costs under President Trump’s leadership. He highlighted reduced gas prices for Hoosiers as evidence of commitments being honored by the administration. “Hoosiers are paying less at the gas pump under President Trump.
