Congressman Rudy Yakym, who has represented Indiana’s 2nd District in the U.S. Congress since 2022, shared several updates on his official Twitter account on July 21, 2025.

In a post from the early morning hours of July 21, Yakym listed what he described as recent achievements: “Six months in and we’re just getting started! Most secure border ever Stock market is up Gas prices are down No taxes on tips & overtime Unleashing American energy” (posted at 00:22 UTC).

Later that day, Yakym commented on ongoing legal proceedings involving unnamed individuals by stating: “And you wonder why they’re all pleading the fifth now.” This post was published at 14:49 UTC.

In the evening, Yakym highlighted his support for agricultural education and leadership development through FFA (Future Farmers of America). He wrote: “FFA empowers individuals to grow as leaders and achieve career success through agricultural education. It was a pleasure meeting some of Indiana’s outstanding members!” The tweet appeared at 21:52 UTC.

Yakym, born in 1984 and currently residing in Granger, holds associate and bachelor’s degrees from Indiana University South Bend. He completed his AS in 2009 and BS in 2011.
