Rudy Yakym, a U.S. Congressman representing Indiana’s 2nd District since 2022, has recently shared several updates on his activities and opinions through social media. Born in 1984 and currently residing in Granger, Yakym is an alumnus of Indiana University South Bend.

On February 17, 2025, Yakym expressed his support for President Trump by stating “This is great news! President Trump continues to deliver for the American people.”

Later that day, he shared details of his travels across Indiana’s Second District. He mentioned visiting local communities to engage with constituents and highlighted his visit with the Elkhart Rotary Club: “On the road this week, traveling throughout Indiana’s Second District to hear directly from constituents. Great first stop this afternoon with the Elkhart Rotary Club!”

The following day, February 18, Yakym commenced the Indiana Innovation tour at Southwire in Bremen. He praised the district’s innovative spirit by stating “Kicking off the Indiana Innovation tour this afternoon at @Southwire in Bremen. Indiana’s Second District is home to so many innovative products!”
