Rudy Yakym, a U.S. Congressman representing Indiana’s 2nd District since 2022, has recently expressed his political stance and support for former President Donald Trump through a series of tweets. Born in 1984 and residing in Granger, Yakym is an alumnus of Indiana University South Bend.

On March 5, 2025, Yakym tweeted about his enthusiasm to collaborate with President Trump: “America is back! I look forward to working with President Trump to continue delivering for Hoosiers and all Americans.”

Later that day, he praised Trump’s recent speech: “President Trump delivered a fantastic speech last night. @HouseGOP is ready to keep working with him to make our country great again “

In another tweet on the same day, Yakym critiqued the Democratic Party’s stance on patriotism: “Dems a few days ago: ‘we should embrace patriotism.’ Dems last night: “
