Today, Congressman Rudy Yakym from Indiana’s 2nd District issued a statement after the House of Representatives passed “The One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” also known as H.R. 1.

“Today is a major victory for our country,” Rep. Yakym stated. “The One Big Beautiful Bill delivers on the promises made to the 77 million Americans who voted for bold change. It is the most pro-growth, pro-worker, pro-business, pro-family, and pro-America legislation of our generation.”

Yakym highlighted several key components of the bill: making permanent the tax cuts introduced in 2017, eliminating taxes on tips and overtime, securing the border, promoting American energy independence, modernizing air traffic control systems, reducing regulatory burdens on small businesses, boosting domestic manufacturing under the ‘Made in America’ initiative, and achieving what he described as “the largest reduction in federal spending in history.”

Rep. Yakym expressed pride in his continued efforts to serve his constituents and collaborate with President Trump to advance their shared vision for America.
