Junior right-handed pitcher Jack Radel was named Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Pitcher of the Week on March 23.

The recognition comes after Radel delivered a complete-game shutout for Notre Dame against No. 19 Clemson, leading his team to a 6-0 victory. The award marks his second ACC Pitcher of the Week honor this season and the third in his collegiate career.

Radel, who is from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, allowed only four singles over nine innings while striking out eight batters and issuing no walks. During the game, Clemson did not advance any runner beyond second base. Radel posted a 0.44 WHIP and limited opponents to a .121 batting average across his 117-pitch outing.

This performance marked both the first complete game and first complete-game shutout of Radel’s college career.

The ACC Pitcher of the Week honor highlights individual excellence within conference play and recognizes standout performances that contribute significantly to team success.
