Madison St. Rose will join the Notre Dame women’s basketball team for her graduate season, the program announced on Apr. 19.
St. Rose comes to Notre Dame after a notable undergraduate career at Princeton, where she earned several honors including being named to the 2026 All-Ivy League First Team and appearing on the Wooden Award Watch List for top college basketball players.
Karen and Kevin Keyes Family Head Women’s Basketball Coach Niele Ivey said, “We are thrilled to welcome Maddie to our Notre Dame women’s basketball family! Maddie strengthens our backcourt with her experience, three-level scoring ability and leadership. She brings size, defense and versatility on the wing, plus a high basketball IQ that fits perfectly with everything that makes Notre Dame special.”
Last season at Princeton, St. Rose averaged 15.8 points per game along with 4.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.1 steals while shooting nearly 48 percent from the field. She scored in double figures in most games and recorded five games of at least 20 points, including two against major conference teams such as No. 9 Maryland.
St. Rose led Princeton in scoring last year as they secured their fifth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance during her tenure at the school.
Throughout her collegiate career, she has averaged over thirteen points per game and contributed consistently across multiple statistical categories as Princeton made four straight NCAA Tournament appearances while she was on campus.
Before college, St. Rose was recognized as New Jersey’s Gatorade Player of the Year twice by Max Preps and was ranked No. 46 overall in ESPN’s class of 2022 recruiting rankings.
She will join Hannah Hidalgo in Notre Dame’s backcourt next season alongside a recruiting class led by No. 9 overall recruit Jacy Abii.
