On Friday, March 21, former Marian High School standout Evann Schmidtendorff’s current college team, the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Youngstown State Penguins.
The game took place at Eastwood Field. This was their first matchup against the Penguins this season.
The Mastodons’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 23 at 11 a.m. at Eastwood Field against Youngstown State Penguins.
