Former St. Joseph High School basketball standout Kelly Ratigan helped her current college team, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, secure a 67-64 victory over the Vanderbilt Commodores in the NCAA Tournament on Friday, March 27.
The contest was held at Dickies Arena and began at 1:35 p.m.
Notre Dame’s next matchup is scheduled for Sunday, March 29, at 1 p.m. at Dickies Arena.
According to the U.S. Department of Education, Bethel University in Mishawaka, Indiana allocated $464,861 to its women’s basketball teams in 2024, which is $697,631 below the state average of $1,162,492.
Notre Dame will compete against Princeton for the men’s lacrosse national championship on May 25 in Charlottesville. The Irish seek their third title in four seasons after recent postseason success.
