On Sunday, March 29, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, featuring former St. Joseph High School basketball standout Kelly Ratigan, were defeated 70-52 by the UConn Huskies in the NCAA Tournament.
The matchup began at 1 p.m. at Dickies Arena.
Notre Dame’s baseball team defeated Pittsburgh by scoring 21 runs and hitting seven home runs on May 16. The win secured their series victory and marked their highest run total under coach Shawn Stiffler.
Notre Dame will meet Johns Hopkins in an NCAA men’s lacrosse quarterfinal match on May 16. The Fighting Irish bring strong recent postseason results and several individual honors into this matchup.
Notre Dame junior Jacob Modleski has been chosen for the 2026 Arnold Palmer Cup. He will compete as part of Team International at Tralee Golf Links in Ireland this July.
