The Notre Dame women’s tennis team will begin its Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Tournament campaign on April 15 at Cary Tennis Park. The Fighting Irish, who finished with a 5-7 record in ACC play, enter the tournament as the No. 10 seed and are set to face No. 15 seed Boston College at 6 p.m.

The tournament is significant for Notre Dame as it offers an opportunity to advance further than previous years, having reached the quarterfinals twice and holding a 7-11 all-time record in ACC Tournament play.

According to information released by the team, Notre Dame completed their spring season with a dual match record of 16-8 and have momentum going into the tournament after winning four of their last five matches. Live streams and scoring for every match will be available through links on the team’s schedule page.

If victorious against Boston College (who finished their season at 10-12 overall and 2-10 in conference), Notre Dame would move on to face seventh-seeded Clemson on Thursday, followed by potential matches against second-seeded North Carolina on Friday, with semifinals and finals scheduled for Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Looking ahead, the Fighting Irish aim to build upon recent successes as they compete in Cary this week.
