Rudy Yakym, a Congressman representing Indiana’s 2nd District, took to social media to express his support and enthusiasm for local sports teams’ achievements. The series of posts highlights his engagement with the community and pride in regional athletic accomplishments.

On March 29, Yakym celebrated a victory for the Manchester Squires: “Congrats to the Manchester Squires on their huge win! What a great day for Wabash County!”

Later the same day, Yakym praised a team he holds in high regard, “Very proud of this team and their season. #GoIrish”

Continuing on March 30, Yakym highlighted another sports achievement in his district, stating, “It’s a great day in Indiana’s Second District when two of our teams win state championships! Congrats to the Saint Joseph Huskies!”
