He noted that they discussed priorities related to the budget reconciliation process. “Spent time with Indiana Credit Union League members from IN-02 this afternoon. We discussed their priorities as we navigate the budget reconciliation process.”

The following day, on February 22, 2025, Yakym expressed his stance on the inheritance tax through another tweet. He stated his support for efforts led by the GOP to repeal what he referred to as the “Death Tax,” emphasizing its impact on hardworking Americans and family businesses. “The Death Tax is an attack on hardworking Americans & family businesses. Proud to support the GOP-led push to repeal the inheritance tax.”

Later that day, Yakym posted a cryptic message suggesting strong disapproval of certain entities or practices without providing specific details in his tweet. “As if we needed another example of why they need to be wiped from the face of this earth.”
