Congressman Rudy Yakym, representing Indiana’s 2nd District since 2022, has been actively engaging with the public and addressing key issues through social media. On March 5, 2025, he shared insights on various topics including government waste reduction, support for firefighters, and regulatory impacts on businesses.

In a tweet from March 5, Congressman Yakym highlighted his discussion with journalist John Solomon. He stated: “Great conversation with @jsolomonReports on @JustTheNews about my work to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal government.”

Later that day, Yakym expressed his appreciation for firefighters. He tweeted: “Firefighters put their lives on the line for us everyday. Enjoyed meeting with @PFFUI to learn how we can better support them.”

Addressing regulatory concerns affecting Indiana’s economy, Yakym criticized certain policies of the Biden administration. On March 5 he posted: “The Biden admin pushed absurd regulations—from rubber tires to gas stoves—hurting Indiana’s small businesses, manufacturers and raising costs. Proud to have voted to reverse two Biden-era regulations (H.J. Res. 61 & H.J. Res. 42) and restore common sense today!”
