Congressman Rudy Yakym, who has been serving Indiana’s 2nd District since 2022, recently shared a series of updates via tweets. Elected in 2022, Yakym was born in 1984 and currently resides in Granger. He holds degrees from Indiana University South Bend.

On April 1, 2025, Yakym reminded constituents that “our office is here to serve you! If you live in Winamac or Hamlet and need help with a federal agency, please stop by our office hours tomorrow!” link.

The following day, on April 2, 2025, the Congressman engaged with local representatives from the American Dental Association. He stated, “had a great discussion with Hoosiers from @AmerDentalAssn about advancing dental health and care in Indiana. Thanks for stopping by!” link.

On April 3, 2025, Yakym addressed the severe weather affecting Indiana, noting, “My team and I are monitoring the storms and the devastating impacts across Indiana. We remain in contact with emergency management officials.” He further urged the community to “join Sallyann and me in praying for all the victims and their families.” link.
