Congressman Rudy Yakym, who has represented Indiana’s 2nd District in the U.S. Congress since 2022, shared updates on his recent engagements with local businesses and highlighted legislative efforts through a series of social media posts dated August 8, 2025.

In a post from August 8, Yakym described his visit to Baileys Discount Center in North Judson, stating: “It was great to be with Matt Bailey at Baileys Discount Center in North Judson to chat about the One Big Beautiful Bill that is the most pro-worker legislation passed in a generation.”

Later that day, Yakym visited Crossroads Seamless, noting its role as a significant employer in Pulaski County and writing: “As a significant employer in Pulaski County, Crossroads Seamless continues to be a leader in the tube industry. I talked with their team and highlighted how @HouseGOP are committed to fighting for less regulations, lower taxes, and a brighter future for manufacturers.” This message emphasized the Republican caucus’s focus on reducing regulatory burdens and taxes for manufacturers.

Yakym concluded his week of visits with an update from Winamac: “That’s a wrap on week one of the One Big Beautiful Hoosier Tour! It is always good to visit BraunAbility in Winamac and see their innovative operation flourish.”

Yakym, born in 1984 and currently residing in Granger, Indiana, has been active in engaging with businesses across his district. He holds associate and bachelor’s degrees from Indiana University South Bend (Fact 3), reflecting his longstanding ties to the region.
