Congressman Rudy Yakym, who has represented Indiana’s 2nd District in the U.S. Congress since 2022, recently shared updates on legislative actions and political positions through his official Twitter account.

On July 17, 2025, Yakym posted about his support for cryptocurrency legislation: “Proud to have voted for all three pieces of legislation to ensure America leads the way in crypto innovation.”

The following day, on July 18, 2025, he commented on a fiscal policy measure passed by the House GOP: “.@HouseGOP passed the $9 billion rescissions package, and it’s now heading to President Trump’s desk. This is a critical step toward eliminating government waste, fraud, and abuse and restoring fiscal responsibility to Washington”

Later that same day, Yakym addressed a controversial slogan with another post: “Condemning the slogan “Globalize the Intifada” should be common sense, but some people would rather play politics than tell the truth. Read more

Yakym was born in 1984 and resides in Granger. He earned both an associate’s degree (2009) and a bachelor’s degree (2011) from Indiana University South Bend.
