Congressman Rudy Yakym, who has represented Indiana’s 2nd District in the U.S. Congress since 2022, recently shared a series of posts highlighting his engagement with local businesses and communities across Indiana.

On August 14, 2025, Yakym posted about a visit to a local manufacturer: “Insightful visit to Ferret, a vital small business powering Indiana’s RV industry. Proud to support our manufacturers who are driving jobs and development!”

The following day, on August 15, he invited constituents to join him virtually as he traveled through the state: “Follow along with me today on the One Big Beautiful Hoosier Tour!”

Later that same day, Yakym reflected on the legacy of his predecessor during a commemorative event: “Over three years ago, we lost my dear friend and predecessor, Congresswoman Jackie Walorski. Today, I was honored to participate in the renaming of a road in Marshall County, a community she loved deeply. May we never forget her selfless service to our nation.”

Yakym, age 39 and a resident of Granger, holds both an associate’s degree (2009) and bachelor’s degree (2011) from Indiana University South Bend. He assumed office after winning election in 2022 and has since been active in supporting local industries and honoring public service within his district.
