Rudy Yakym, a U.S. Congressman representing Indiana’s 2nd District since 2022, shared several statements on February 12, 2025, via social media. His messages touched upon support for local firefighters, regulatory reform, and the enforcement of laws by the Department of Justice.

On February 12, 2025, Yakym expressed his appreciation for firefighters by hosting the Indiana Volunteer Firefighter’s Association at his office. He stated: “Glad to host the Indiana Volunteer Firefighter’s Association at my office! Every day, firefighters put their lives on the line to protect our communities. I am grateful for their service!”

Later that day, Yakym criticized regulations imposed by the Biden Administration and announced his support for legislative oversight through recent voting activity. He remarked: “American businesses have been crushed by burdensome regulations from the Biden Administration.
