Congressman Rudy Yakym, representing Indiana’s 2nd District since 2022, recently shared a series of tweets addressing various topics. Born in 1984 and residing in Granger, Yakym has been serving in the U.S. Congress and is an alumnus of Indiana University South Bend.

On February 8, 2025, Congressman Yakym expressed his honor in presenting medals to Gary Roe, a Vietnam War veteran from Fulton County. In his tweet, he stated: “Honored to present Fulton County resident Gary Roe with medals that he earned in the Vietnam War, but never received. I am so grateful for Gary’s service. Please know that my office is here to serve you!”

The following day, on February 9, 2025, Yakym commented on changes within the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) under the Trump Administration. He remarked: “After four years of non-stop burdensome regulations from the CFPB, it is refreshing to see the Trump Administration clean house at the agency!”

Later on February 9th, Yakym tweeted a brief statement expressing continued optimism: “We are not tired of winning yet!”
