Congressman Rudy Yakym, who represents Indiana’s 2nd District in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on his recent activities and community engagement through a series of posts on social media.
On September 7, 2025, Yakym posted about participating in a local event to honor first responders. He wrote, “Honored to join the 2025 Elkhart County Ride to Remember opening ceremony, paying tribute to the brave first responders who serve and sacrifice for our communities.”
Later that same day, he informed constituents about opportunities for assistance with federal matters. In his post dated September 7, 2025, Yakym stated, “My team will be available in Peru and Akron tomorrow to assist with federal agency issues.”
On September 9, 2025, Yakym described a positive experience meeting with hosts of a podcast. He posted, “Morning well spent. Breakfast with the @RuthlessPodcast fellas is tough to beat!”
Rudy Yakym has served as the congressional representative for Indiana’s 2nd District since 2022. At age 39, he resides in Granger and holds associate and bachelor’s degrees from Indiana University South Bend.
