Congressman Rudy Yakym, who has represented Indiana’s 2nd District in the U.S. Congress since 2022, recently highlighted several local initiatives and businesses through a series of posts on his official Twitter account.
On August 26, 2025, Yakym visited ADM’s facility in Logansport. He wrote, “ADM in Logansport is committed to providing sustainable and innovative solutions to meet the world’s most fundamental nutritional needs. I was able to tour their impressive facility today and meet the hardworking Hoosiers that make this company run. We must continue to fight for https://t.co/xJs7r3gzyi”.
The following day, on August 27, 2025, Yakym drew attention to autism awareness within the community by posting, “Did you know 1 in 31 children in our community have autism? Places like Lighthouse Autism Center, determined to bring the highest quality Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy to children in our community, make IN-02 a wonderful place to raise a family. https://t.co/FXjDvhW7hW”.
Later that same day, he visited a Walmart location in Mishawaka and remarked on economic issues under Republican leadership: “Stopped by the Mishawaka Walmart and got to meet their excellent team! Under President Trump and House Republicans, prices are going down! https://t.co/3ZV2iNznVN”.
Rudy Yakym was born in 1984 and currently resides in Granger. He graduated from Indiana University South Bend with an associate degree in 2009 and a bachelor’s degree in 2011.
