Congressman Rudy Yakym, who represents Indiana’s 2nd District in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted his activities across northern Indiana through a series of social media posts.

On August 21, 2025, Yakym visited an automotive dealership and announced new policy measures: “Made a stop by Lochmandy Motors in Knox today and shared the good news that we’re making automobiles affordable again with no tax on automobile loan interest!”

Later that day, he posted about visiting a longstanding local farm: “The Garwood family has been farming the same land for over 180 years. Today, I got a taste of why they have been so successful!”

On August 22, Yakym promoted his appearance on local radio: “Always great to be live on 95.3 MNC with Jon and Laura! Make sure to tune in!”

Yakym has served as the representative for Indiana’s 2nd District since 2022. He was born in 1984 and resides in Granger. He is an alumnus of Indiana University South Bend, where he earned both associate and bachelor’s degrees.
