Cost of college went up for all students at Bethel College-Indiana

Tuition and fees rose 2 percent for 2018-19 at Bethel College-Indiana, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Indiana students paid $28,590 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $560 more than the $28,030 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 228 students received grants or scholarships totaling $4.4 million and 148 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.1 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,513), 1,142 students used grants or scholarships totaling $18.5 million, and 856 students took out $6.1 million in federal student loans.
