In the 1990s, the CDC conducted a landmark study on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
They discovered that ACEs and psychological trauma are the greatest predictors of later health, mental health, and opportunity outcomes over the lifespan – but ACEs and Trauma are not destiny.
In this session, you will learn: major findings of the ACEs Study; the impact of stress on the brain and how that can impact a person over the course of their life; ways to encourage and promote resilience in youth and adults, and new data on how support helps.
Lunch will be provided.
Please register by June 30.
Cost: $5pp for INTERN SBR interns
