Efficient Scoring Pushes Saints Past Eagles
The Holy Cross men's basketball team continued their conference play when they traveled to Judson University to take on the Eagles this afternoon. The Saints offense started off hot in today's game, the scoring was led by Phil Robles II. Robles II hit three first half three-pointers and had 11 points going into the half. The Saints would take a commanding 40-20 lead going into halftime. The second half was high scoring from both sides and the Saints were led in scoring by Phil Robles II once again. Robles's ability to get to the line was great for the Saints offense. Robles shot 10-10 from the free throw line in the second half and the Saints would hold off the Eagles 83-71. With the win, Holy Cross improves to 2-5 overall and 1-3 in conference play, while Judson University drops to 1-6 and 1-2.
