Brad Karpick has been appointed as the assistant coach for both the men's and women's golf teams at the University of Notre Dame. The announcement was made by women's golf Head Coach Breanna Jenco and Director of Golf John Handrigan.

"Brad immediately grabbed my attention as a great fit for this position," said Jenco. "His knowledge of Notre Dame and the team, paired with his organizational skills and work ethic, will be extremely helpful as we transition into these new roles. His enthusiasm and passion for coaching are infectious. I know he will bring positivity to everything he does, so all of us will benefit from him being an integral part of this program."

Karpick previously served as Director of Operations and assistant coach for both programs over the past year, contributing to three top-five finishes for the women's team in 2024-25.

"Brad has proven to be an exceptional coach and I’m thankful with this promotion that he will continue his career with ND Golf as he’s a great asset to our program," Handrigan added.

Before joining Notre Dame, Karpick spent a year at the University of Missouri – St. Louis as an assistant coach. He also played five seasons at Maryville University before earning his MBA in December 2023. During his final season with Maryville, Karpick achieved three top-10 finishes and five top-25 finishes, including a victory at the McKendree Bearcat Dual Gender event.

"I would like to thank Coach Jenco, Coach Handrigan, and Nick Siergiej for the opportunity to continue to work with Notre Dame Golf student-athletes in a more direct role," Karpick said Friday. "I am really excited to bring my passion into this role and help our student-athletes reach their full potential both on and off the course. I can’t wait to assist Coach Jenco in building this program to compete for ACC and national titles."
