Congressman Rudy Yakym, who has represented Indiana’s 2nd District in the U.S. Congress since 2022, posted several updates on his official Twitter account on September 10, 2025.
In a tweet from that morning, Yakym announced constituent outreach efforts: "Today, my team is hosting mobile office hours in Winamac and Knox to help Hoosiers with federal casework issues. We are here to serve you!" (September 10, 2025).
Later that day, he reflected on a meeting in Washington D.C., stating: "Great morning meeting Hoosier heroes in DC with @HF_NEI. This trip, made possible in part by the Walorski Family Foundation, was extra special with Jackie’s mom joining us. Jackie was a tireless advocate for veterans, and I’m honored to carry on her legacy. We are a grateful" (September 10, 2025).
That evening, Yakym also posted a brief message: "Pray for Charlie Kirk." (September 10, 2025).
Rudy Yakym was born in 1984 and resides in Granger. He graduated from Indiana University South Bend with an AS degree in 2009 and a BS degree in 2011.
