Congressman Rudy Yakym, who represents Indiana's 2nd District in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of updates on his official X account regarding constituent outreach and legislative activity.
On September 14, 2025, Yakym informed constituents about an upcoming opportunity to meet with his team: "My team will be available tomorrow afternoon at Bell Memorial Library in Mentone."
The following day, September 15, he addressed legislative efforts to improve infrastructure project timelines. In a post he stated: "I recently spoke in a legislative hearing on my bill, H.R. 573, that will cut delays in building critical projects. NEPA red tape slows infrastructure our future relies on. This bill restores reporting on delays & costs so Congress can pursue real, effective reforms."
Later that same day, Yakym expressed support for his party’s work in Congress: ".@HouseGOP is delivering for all Americans!"
Yakym has served as the representative for Indiana's 2nd District since 2022. He was born in 1984 and currently resides in Granger. He holds both an associate and bachelor’s degree from Indiana University South Bend.
