Congressman Rudy Yakym, who has represented Indiana's 2nd District in the U.S. Congress since 2022, recently posted a series of updates on his official social media account.

On September 16, 2025, Yakym informed constituents about available federal casework assistance, stating, "Need federal casework assistance? My team will be available in Argos and Walton tomorrow."

The following day, September 17, 2025, he marked Constitution Day with a message reflecting on American foundational values: "On Constitution Day, we honor the vision of our Founders and renew our commitment to safeguard the liberties they entrusted to us"

Later that same day, Yakym addressed healthcare access for seniors through Medicare. He wrote, "When a medical device is proven safe and effective, seniors shouldn't have to wait years to access it. This bill cuts red tape so Medicare patients can receive breakthrough treatments, because timely access means hope for those facing serious illness."

Yakym was born in 1984 and currently resides in Granger. He holds associate and bachelor’s degrees from Indiana University South Bend. These details provide context for his ongoing engagement with both local constituents and national policy issues.
