Congressman Rudy Yakym, who has represented Indiana’s 2nd District in the U.S. Congress since 2022, recently posted a series of messages on his social media account addressing political issues, constituent services, and local sports.

On October 10, 2025, Yakym criticized Democratic lawmakers in a post stating, "Another disgusting admission from Democrats. Once again, they’re playing political games with Americans’ lives."

Later that day, he highlighted resources available to constituents regarding Medicare enrollment. In his October 10 post, Yakym wrote: "Open enrollment begins next week and my office is here to help you navigate the process. Our 2025 “Medicare 101” webinar is now live to answer your questions about enrollment."

On October 11, Yakym expressed support for the University of Notre Dame’s athletic teams by posting: "#GOIRISH"

Yakym, age 39 and a resident of Granger, was born in 1984. He earned both an associate and bachelor’s degree from Indiana University South Bend in 2009 and 2011 respectively.
