Today, Congressman Rudy Yakym (IN-02) released a statement following the passage of a Senate-amended rescissions package by House Republicans. The package aims to cut $9 billion in spending deemed wasteful.

“Hoosiers deserve to keep more of what they earn, and that begins with holding Washington accountable,” Rep. Yakym stated. “The $9 billion rescissions package cuts waste, fraud, and abuse and is a key step in delivering on the promises of President Trump and House Republicans to restore fiscal responsibility to Washington.”
