The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) recently announced their Daktronics Men's Basketball Scholar-Athletes. Of the 542 recipients from across the nation, Holy Cross College had three student-athletes earn this award.

In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at the institution.

Seniors Beau Ludwick and Ryan Cartaino were named 2023 Daktronics NAIA Men's Basketball Scholar-Athletes. Both seniors will graduate this spring from Holy Cross College. Sophomore Nash Hostetler was selected as a 2023 Daktronics NAIA Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete.

Beau Ludwick, from Granger, Indiana, was also awarded a NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete for the 2021-2022 season. He started in all 29 games this past season and was named Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Honorable Mention All-Conference.

Ryan Cartaino, originally from Newbury Park, California, competed two seasons with the Holy Cross College men's basketball program after transferring from Allan Hancock College. He appeared in all 29 for the Saints this season.

Nash Hostetler prepped at Dublin Coffman High School in Dublin, Ohio. He appeared in all 29 games this season with 28 starts.
