City of Mishawaka recently issued the following announcement.
Spring Leaf Pickup April 18-22
Mayor David Wood announced today that the Mishawaka Street Department will once again be picking up leaves for one week, starting Monday, April 18, 2022.
This means that Mishawaka residents may begin raking leaves to their curbside for a Monday, April 18th pickup which will continue for a one-week period only, through Friday, April 22nd.
Leaves will be picked up the day before the resident’s regular trash pick-up day.
For example, if a resident’s trash pick-up day is on Wednesday, the Mishawaka Street Department will pick up leaves from that residence on Tuesday.
The Monday scheduled trash pick-ups will have their leaves picked up on Friday, April 22nd.
Leaves should be raked to the edge of the curb and should be free of branches, twigs, stones or similar foreign objects which can damage equipment and delay leaf pick-up.
Any questions about the leaf pick-up schedule may be directed to Mishawaka Central Services offices at (574) 258-1660.
