Of the 6,699 people living in Notre Dame in 2020, 44.7 percent (2,992) were women and 55.3 percent (3,707) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Bend Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 596. All 141 individuals in the 65 and over age range were men.
