Saints Fall 3-1 Vs Knights
Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross College men's soccer team hosted the Calvin University Knights this afternoon in a non-conference matchup. The Knights were able to start off hot scoring early in the half with a goal coming in the 15th minute. The Knights struck again with a goal in the 25th minute and once more at the end of half in the 41st minute. CU took a 3-0 lead into the half. The Saints were able to find the back of the net coming out of the half, with a goal by Axel Valenzuela in the 54th minute. That would be the last goal of the match, as the Saints would fall 3-1. With the loss, Holy Cross stands at (5-4-1), while Calvin University improves to (7-1-2).
