Saints Fall In Overtime At Top-Seeded Onu
The Holy Cross College men's soccer team traveled to Olivet Nazarene University in the Semifinals Round of the CCAC Tournament tonight. The defenses in this match were great and led to a low scoring battle. Kevin Vidana led the Saints in shots on goal with three in the match. The game would go into the half tied 0-0. Defense would remain key in the second half, as the match would head to overtime with no goals scored. Early in the first overtime, Olivet would score to take the 1-0 lead. Despite numerous shots in the remaining 17 minutes of overtime, Holy Cross would fall 1-0. The Saints finished their season 10-5-4 overall and 7-1-4 in conference, while Olivet advances to the championship.
