Rudy Yakym, a Congressman representing Indiana's 2nd District since 2022, recently shared his views on social media regarding recent political events. The tweets, posted on December 2, 2024, address issues surrounding the pardon of Hunter Biden and criticism of President Joe Biden.

In a tweet from December 2, 2024, Congressman Rudy Yakym stated, "Today’s pardon shows that every single baseless charge and cliche the Left uttered against President Trump - from 'no one is above the law' to 'Trump is a threat to judicial independence' was a lie and a distraction from their failed record on open borders and the economy."

On the same day, Yakym tweeted about President Biden, asserting that "President Biden knew he was going to pardon Hunter the minute he was convicted. And then he knowingly and repeatedly lied about it for months before the election for political gain."

Continuing his critique on December 2, 2024, Yakym expressed, "In short, Joe Biden lied - like he always has - and this is just the sad, predictable, and fitting end to the failures of the past four years. President Trump is going to end the real weaponization of the justice system and Make America Great Again."
