Congressman Rudy Yakym, representing Indiana's 2nd District since 2022, shared a series of tweets on February 6 and 7, 2025. The tweets covered topics ranging from national events to legislative efforts and appointments in the federal government.

On February 6, Yakym expressed his appreciation for starting the day with prayer. He mentioned the presence of President Biden at a significant event by stating: "Prayer is always the best way to kick off a morning! Great to have @POTUS at the National Prayer Breakfast this morning."

Later that day, he addressed the issue of fentanyl in his district. He remarked on his observations during travels across Indiana's 2nd District and voiced support for recent legislation aimed at combating drug issues: "As I have traveled across IN-02, I have seen firsthand that fentanyl is wreaking havoc in every community. I was pleased to support the passage of the Halt Fentanyl Act which will provide vital resources to keep lethal drugs off our streets."

In another tweet posted on February 7, Congressman Yakym commented on an appointment within the Office of Management and Budget. He praised Russ Vought's confirmation as Director amidst fiscal challenges: "So glad to see @russvought confirmed as Director of the Office of Management & Budget. At a time when our debt is out of control, Director Vought is the right man to help restore fiscal responsibility in our country!"
