Later that day, he addressed the issue of fentanyl in his district. He remarked on his observations during travels across Indiana's 2nd District and voiced support for recent legislation aimed at combating drug issues: "As I have traveled across IN-02, I have seen firsthand that fentanyl is wreaking havoc in every community. I was pleased to support the passage of the Halt Fentanyl Act which will provide vital resources to keep lethal drugs off our streets."
