Congressman Rudy Yakym shares insights from Indiana Innovation Tour

Congressman Rudy Yakym, representing Indiana's 2nd District since 2022, recently shared updates from his Indiana Innovation Tour through a series of tweets. Born in 1984 and residing in Granger, Yakym is an alumnus of Indiana University South Bend.

On February 19, 2025, Congressman Yakym visited Outstanding Trade Show Services with Starke County officials. He highlighted the innovative efforts led by Nan Wellman and her team to transform the space into a CTE hub for future leaders of Starke County. "Had a fantastic time visiting Outstanding Trade Show Services with Starke County officials! Nan Wellman and her team have innovative ideas to transform the space into a CTE hub for future generations of Starke County leaders."

Later that day, Yakym visited Boss Industries in La Porte, where he praised the team's production of high-quality compressors distributed nationwide. This visit was part of his ongoing tour focused on innovation within Indiana. "Boss Industries in La Porte has a great team and are producing high quality compressors that are shopped around the country. Another great stop on our Indiana Innovation Tour!"

In another tweet on the same day, Yakym expressed his support for Israel amidst recent events he described as "absolutely heartbreaking." He emphasized the importance of prayer and support for Israeli friends during these challenging times. "Absolutely heartbreaking. We must continue to pray and support our Israeli friends to combat these horrific acts."
