Congressman Rudy Yakym, who has been serving Indiana's 2nd District since 2022, recently shared a series of tweets expressing his views on various topics. Born in 1984 and currently residing in Granger, Yakym is an alumnus of Indiana University South Bend.
On March 3, 2025, Yakym expressed support for the administration's efforts to assist small businesses in Indiana. He tweeted: "This is welcome news for Indiana small businesses! Grateful for this administration’s commitment to supporting job creators, innovators, and manufacturers."
Later that day, Yakym extended congratulations to the newly appointed Secretary of Education. His tweet read: "Congratulations to our new Secretary of Education!"
On March 4, 2025, Yakym addressed the issue of gender participation in sports. He stated: "Men should not play in women’s sports. It’s that simple. It’s a shame that Senate democrats can’t bring themselves to stand up for female athletes."
