Congressman Rudy Yakym, representing Indiana's 2nd District since 2022, communicated with his constituents through a series of tweets this week. Yakym shared his experiences and viewpoints on various issues, including welcoming visitors from his home state to Washington D.C., commenting on political approval ratings, and expressing support for new legislation.

On April 28, 2025, Congressman Yakym expressed his joy at welcoming fellow Hoosiers to Washington D.C. during Spring Break. He invited others who might be visiting the capital to reach out to his office, stating, "It was a pleasure to welcome so many Hoosiers to our nation’s capital over Spring Break! If you’re visiting D.C., please don’t hesitate to contact my office; we’d love to show you around."

Later that day, Yakym commented on the political climate, pointing to low approval ratings among Democrats. In a brief statement released on Twitter, he noted "21% approval of Dems Impeachment."

In a subsequent tweet on April 29, 2025, the Congressman expressed his support for legislation aimed at protecting children in the digital world. He affirmed his role in the legislative process by stating, "I'm proud to have voted for this important legislation to ensure a safer digital future for our kids."
