Congressman Rudy Yakym, representing Indiana's 2nd District, shared a series of tweets over two days outlining his recent activities and accomplishments. As a member of Congress since 2022, Yakym has been addressing various topics related to national and state issues.

On April 29, 2025, Yakym reflected on his first 100 days in office, celebrating achievements such as a significant reduction in illegal border crossings, the deportation of violent criminals, the repatriation of hostages, bolstering national security, and advancing American energy initiatives. Later that day, he tweeted about engaging with the Indiana Electric Cooperatives. Yakym's discussion with the group centered on energy, emphasizing the necessity of affordable and reliable sources to aid national development and manufacturing growth. "Had a great time speaking with @IndianaEC and taking questions about the importance of affordable and reliable energy in making America build again."

On April 30, 2025, Yakym took part in a meeting with the Indiana Beef and Cattle Association. The focus of this gathering was on supporting local farmers and enhancing the state's agricultural economy. Yakym shared his appreciation for the meeting and reiterated the importance of agricultural support in his tweet. "Enjoyed meeting with the Indiana Beef and Cattle Association today to discuss the importance of supporting Hoosier farmers and strengthening our agriculture economy."

Rudy Yakym, aged 39, was born in 1984 and resides in Granger. He completed his higher education at Indiana University South Bend, obtaining an AS in 2009 and a BS in 2011.
