Congressman Rudy Yakym, who has represented Indiana’s 2nd District in the U.S. Congress since 2022, shared a series of posts on July 25, 2025, addressing agricultural policy developments and staff achievements.
In his first post of the day, Yakym commented on federal agricultural policies and recent administrative actions: "Earlier this year I brought this Biden administration failure up and once again was reminded of their woke, climate change, DEI policies that put our hardworking farmers last. Thank you to @POTUS for getting this done!" (July 25, 2025).
Later that afternoon, Yakym highlighted Indiana's role in national agriculture and recognized new federal support for the state: "Indiana is the heart of American agriculture. A new @USDA hub here puts resources where they belong: close to our farmers and ag innovators. Thanks to @POTUS & @SecRollins for backing the future of farming" (July 25, 2025).
That evening, he acknowledged a member of his staff: "Proud of my Deputy Chief of Staff, Mike Dankler, for earning the International Trade Association’s Lighthouse Award! Grateful for his dedication and tireless work for Indiana’s 2nd District." (July 25, 2025).
Yakym was born in 1984 and resides in Granger. He graduated from Indiana University South Bend with associate and bachelor’s degrees in 2009 and 2011 respectively.
