Congressman Rudy Yakym, who has represented Indiana’s 2nd District in the U.S. Congress since 2022, shared updates on his recent activities and views through a series of posts on social media.

On August 18, 2025, Yakym posted about his ongoing tour across Indiana, stating: "Kicking off week three of the One Big Beautiful Hoosier Tour at Polywood in Kosciusko County!"

The following day, August 19, he highlighted the significance of manufactured housing to the state’s economy and discussed legislative efforts aimed at supporting the industry. He wrote: "The Manufactured Housing Industry is a crucial part of Indiana’s economy. It was my privilege to join industry leaders today and share an update on how the One Big Beautiful Bill will not only help them personally but will also help promote the growth of their business."

Later that same day, Yakym addressed a controversial slogan seen in public discourse, writing: "I’ll say it again: there aren’t two sides here. Condemning the phrase 'Globalize the Intifada' isn’t controversial; it’s common sense."

Yakym, born in 1984 and currently residing in Granger, has served as a congressional representative since 2022. He is an alumnus of Indiana University South Bend, where he earned both associate's and bachelor's degrees.
