Congressman Rudy Yakym, representing Indiana's 2nd District since 2022, shared a series of tweets on July 10, 2025, addressing issues related to federal law enforcement and political rhetoric. Yakym has been an active voice in Congress and resides in Granger.

In his first tweet, Yakym highlighted a significant increase in attacks on ICE agents, stating that such incidents have surged by 700%. He noted the efforts of the House GOP to support federal law enforcement through legislation referred to as the "One Big Beautiful Bill." Yakym criticized Democrats for their stance on ICE, citing Minnesota Governor Tim Walz's comparison of ICE to "Donald Trump’s modern-day Gestapo" here.

In another tweet posted shortly after, Yakym referenced Representative Lynch's remarks comparing fighting former President Donald Trump in Congress to battling "Nazis in Northern Africa," which can be found here.
